In the midst of the ruckus debate about health care reform, accusations are being made that talk radio and cable news programs are distorting the truth. Many have called those protesting the health care bill in town hall meetings "un-American." In reality, these debates are the epitome of what it means to be an American- the engagement of the people in the democratic process. But don’t be surprised if the Federal Communications Commission tries to retaliate in an attempt to clamp down on conservatives in the media. The reason for this concern is confirmed by the recent appointment of Mark Lloyd to the FCC as its chief diversity officer by President Obama. Lloyd comes from a liberal Washington DC think tank. He advocates threatening the seizer of licenses from stations with whom he does not agree politically.
This kind of restriction on free speech poses a real threat to Christian talk radio and cable programs. Liberals have wanted for a long time to quash dissent, now they have the power.
Help us stand for the right of Christian radio to speak the truth on all the moral and cultural issues of our day.
TAKE ACTION: Contact the FCC today and urge them to continue to protect conservative Christians throughout America by not taking away their right to freedom of speech on the airwaves. Email:
