PETITION FOR CHURCH PROTECTION

We are happy to announce that a petition was sent from CADC to California Attorney General, Edmund J. "Jerry" Brown Jr. on 1/18/09 requesting equal protection of Christians to be upheld under the law as a result of nationwide vandalisms and intimidation from homosexuals in response to Prop 8. Prop 8 states that homosexuals do not have the right to marry under the law. Homosexuals were not held accountable for their actions of vandalism or intimidation.  View an historical account in the video below.

The petition to Jerry Brown contained 3148 signatures.  As a CADC community, we thank you for your involvement in this issue.  It takes each and every Christian pulling together.  Together we can do it!

WHAT'S NEXT?

We are now waiting for a response from California Attorney General, Edmund J. Brown Jr.  We will be updating this page and sending out an ALERT email as soon as we receive his response.  In the meantime, please continue to pray for Christians around the world who are continuing to be harmed and have their places of worship vandalized and their services interrupted by Christian bashers.  Also, pray that California Attorney General, Edmund J. Brown Jr. upholds the law and rightly punishes those who were already involved in these crimes against churches and their members.

Here is the language in the petition that was sent to California Attorney General, Edmund J. Brown Jr. on 1/18/09:

PETITION FOR CHURCH PROTECTION
Because of the continuing threats, harassment, and vandalism of churches by homosexual activists, I join my name to this petition urging that California Attorney General, Edmund J. Brown Jr., defend all churches against those who disrupt their worship services and violate their property or persons.  These laws are supported in the California Penal Code 302. As Attorney General, I respectfully urge you to do your duty to uphold the law by prosecuting those who disturb worship services, vandalize church property, or physically harm Christians. All churches that are being harassed and intimidated are entitled to your protection.

Here is some historical video regarding Church Protection from homosexual activists who have been vandalizing churches, disrupting worship services, and violating churchgoers:
